Day 2 at the Casino Royale is Underway
The first ever World Series of Poker Circuit Caribbean Festival kicked off on November 3rd and four players won their seat for the $1,650 Main Event through a $250 Satellite on the first day at the iconic Casino Royale next door to the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort.
Today, another 26 players participated in the $65 Satellite for Event #3, the $365 Ring Event with a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000, and the field was reduced to the final table just minutes before Day 1a got underway. With $1,300 in the pot, three tickets are up for grabs and the fourth place finisher receives $205.
The first starting day of Event 3 kicked off with five tables running and that field is expected to grow further with the registration remaining open until the start of level 10. Each Day 1 will play a total of 15 levels of 30 minutes each and the participants receive 10,000 in chips, an additional 2,000 can be acquired via the optional $20 staff bonus.
Two further starting days will kick off at 6 p.m. local time in the next two days, before Day 2 then restarts at 3.30 p.m. local time on November 7th.
