Rimbaud and Hernandez Eliminated; Prager Doubles
$365 NLHE Event #22 Day 2 16/121
Level 16: 1,500-3,000 / Ante 500
Within quick succession, two players were eliminated. Santiago Hernandez shoved for his last 12,500 with the 10h 7h and Olivier Robveille called in the big blind with Ad 8c. There was some sweat on the board 9d 6c 2c 2s Ks, but ultimately Hernandez failed to improve.
The other casualty was Hubert Rimbaud. A rather innocent battle of the blinds between him and Timothy Cavallin brought a board of Ad 2s 2d 8s Ks and Cavallin led for 10,000 in the small blind. Rimbaud shoved with the 9s 5s and Cavallin called with 10s 7s for the superior flush to bust Rimbaud and bump his stack to 200,000.
Last but not least, Stevan Prager held up with Qc Qd in the small blind against the As Jc of Michel Pecot on the button. The board came 10s 9d 2d 2s Qh and Prager doubled for 34,000.
