Welcome to Day 1c of the 2016 WSOPC Caribbean Event #3
In 40 minutes from now at 6 p.m. local time, the third and final starting day of the $365 NLHE $50,000 GTD Event #3 will get underway at the Casino Royale on Sint Maarten. The inaugural World Series of Poker Circuit Caribbean stop, powered by TK Poker Events, heads into the fourth day of the festival and the first ring event will determine its final numbers tonight.
Day 1c is scheduled to play a total of 14 levels of 30 minutes each with a dinner break after the end of level three, and all players receive 10,000 as initial stack. Those that run out of chips within the first nine levels can re-enter for another attempt and the late registration will be available during that period.
In the two starting days thus far, 69 entries on Day 1a and 71 entries on Day 1b created a field of 140 entries, of which 11 hopefuls each bagged up for Day 2. Leading the remaining field thus far is William Hicks with 202,900 followed by Robbie Bakker with 159,000, Day 1b chip leader Hatice Demir is in third overall with 127,100.
A $65 Turbo Satellite for the final flight kicked off at 4 p.m. local time and gathered 38 entries, of which 16 remain at the moment. The top five spots will each receive $380 and among those still in are Stephen Saleh, Felix Sang and Mohamed Nahed.
Furthermore, as of 9 p.m. local time a $135 Survivor Event takes place, in which the top 20% receive $500 each. All participants receive 8,000 in chips and the levels last 20 minutes each, registration remains open until the start of level seven.
