Welcome to Day 2 of the 2016 WSOPC Caribbean Main Event

In half an hour from now, at 3.30 p.m. local time, Day 2 of the $1,675 World Series of Poker Circuit Caribbean Main Event will get underway at the Casino Royale on Sint Maarten. The venue next to the iconic Maho beach has seen 215 entries flying in via the two starting days, of which 95 players bagged up chips. However, neither number is final with the registration remaining open until the first card is dealt in level 12 at blinds 600-1,200 with a running ante of 200.

Leading the field thus far is Luca Giovannone with 235,500 followed by Jean-Luc Adam with 207,500 and Craig Rubinstein (158,600). Other big stacks and notables include Robert Price (124,300), Matthew Fallon (114,000), Marvin Browne (107,500), Martin Ryan (100,000), Werner Eder (99,700), Michael Lech (98,700), Tommie Janssen (86,700) and Akash Mazumdar (84,000).

Ryan is a man on a mission and accomplished back-to-back-to-bag results over the past three days, winning both the PLO Event and the following $365 NLHE tournament before claiming a top 10 stack going into Day 2 of the Main Event.
