Which flights do you recommend?

Flights to St. Maarten arrive on the Dutch side of the island, at one of the busiest airports in the Caribbean – St. Martin Princess Juliana Airport (SXM). It handles more than 1.500.000 visitors and more than 100.000 aircraft movements per year.

Air service from Europe to St. Maarten (SXM) directly is provided by:

KLM 2x per week from Amsterdam (AMS), AirFrance daily from Paris (CDG), Air Caraibes 2x per week from Paris Orly.

Air service from US and other countries:

American Airlines (daily from Miami and New York), Jet Blue (daily from New York and Philadelphia) , Continental (from New York), American Eagle (8x daily from Puerto Rico), Delta, Nortwest, US Airways, United (from Washimgton and Chicago), LIAT, Windward Island Airways, Sunwing, Caribbean Airlines, WestJet, AmeriJet, Airtransat.

Which travel documents are necessary?

Travelling to the St. Maarten island is really easy where ever you are coming from. Americans and European players just need to follow the above instructions.

US citizens do not need a visa.
US citizens and green card holders need a valid passport to travel to Saint Martin/Sint Maarten as well as a return/continuing ticket

Don’t forget to fully complete the immigration card which is usually provided in the aircraft, and indicate the exact place of your stay in Saint Martin
